Each year as the Winter Solstice approaches I find that the small child within me gets excited. It is a magical time of year, meant to be a time for giving and receiving, and for deep sharing of our hearts. It is the Birth of Light in Darkness—a time of the Birth of Christ in every heart. A time of the Ancient Ones (ie the Druids in Ireland), of honoring the Darkness as a place where Stars are Born. It is the Darkness of the Mother’s Womb that gives birth to all of Creation. So, this time of year is a time of honoring ‘the Mystery’ and all peoples and families with dreaming and song, storytelling and the Celebration of the Sacredness of Life.
In this series of Starlodges, I share tools and the Wisdom of the Grandmothers as we cultivate the True Gifts of Heart. Celtic Harp will feature. Your Gifts are Greatly Appreciated.
